Artist's Comments
(Like all my paintings, this thing didn't photograph too well. I may replace the photo later.)
Well... It's finally finished. Those who know me well have been hearing me complain and fret over this piece for a few weeks now. It's a painting of my Grandparents (the two on the bottom) and their children (the other six). Two of the people were not in the photograph and I added them in. They are the man in the mustache (third from the left) and the very last person on the far right. They were my uncles who passed away. I know this isn't perfect, but I did my best. Please be nice. This is a gift for my family and I rather not be criticized so much that I end up throwing it out. Thank you. This is painted on a fair sized 22x32 inch canvas with oil paints. Approximate work time: 20 hours. (For those of you who are interested, left to right, Top Row: Leo, Cindy, John, Eddie, Toni, Chris. - Bottom Row: Nana Yoli, Tata Eddie) |
